Rain Drop

Rain Drop
By: Caroline B

Rain drop, rain drop,
how delicate you fall
your little personalities can make you very small
one by one you puddle up
underneath my shoe
splishing, splashing, waves go crashing
those were made by you
tric-kl-ing from up above
you fall into my mouth
and though each of you come from the sky
you all end up down south
Thank you for your soothing sound that puts me back to sleep
It's funny how this calming noise can mimic someones weep
maybe thats why waves can crash, and rivers run for days
water's just a form of tears expressed in different ways
